It started, like so many Jewish things do, in the kitchen.

A half-frozen bag of challah rolls. A forgotten tub of tahini. The third trip of the week to the kosher butcher, only to find the chicken was out of stock. It was Erev Shabbat, again, and once again we were wondering: why is keeping kosher in the UK still so complicated? That question turned into a conversation. The conversation became a vision. And from that vision, Sabeny was born! A modern way to bring kosher groceries, frozen meals, bakery favourites, and Jewish staples to households across England, Scotland, and Wales. Delivered to your door. Properly labelled. Responsibly sourced. All kosher certified.

We’re not a supermarket. We’re a team of kosher-keeping families who’ve lived the real-life gaps: no local kosher shop, inconsistent product quality, and little clarity about certifications. So we decided to build something different, something better. Something that makes Jewish life easily accessible to everyone across the UK.
